Set out below is BCC Soccer Club’s Coaches and Managers Code of Conduct.

    A Coach and/or Manager must agree to:

  • Teach skills and conduct structured training sessions to the best of your ability.
  • Teach your players to play within the laws of the game.
  • Promote the fun aspect of playing soccer.
  • Never shout, argue or swear at your team or the opposition and at all times avoid the use of derogatory language based on gender or race.
  • Refrain from sarcasm and obscenities at the officials and visiting teams.
  • Be prompt when attending practice and games.
  • Be unbiased when selecting or coaching your players.
  • Inform the players and parents informed of your plans with your specific team
  • Support all club officials in maintaining the highest standard of behaviour both on and off the field
  • Coach within the guidelines laid down by BCC.
  • Be familiar with the laws of the game and abide by the rules and regulations of BCC and other Clubs.
  • Be prepared to be responsible for your actions.
  • Encourage your team to respect the opposition both in victory and defeat.
  • Respect the position you hold as a BCC coach or manager.
